Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Manufacturing Production Line Engineer to join our clients team. This hands-on role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing production line machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Preventative Maintenance
    • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of production line machinery to minimize downtime.
    • Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules.
  2. Repairs and Troubleshooting
    • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production lines to ensure minimal disruption.
    • Respond promptly to breakdowns and apply appropriate technical solutions.
  3. Installation and Upgrades
    • Install new production lines or individual components as required.
    • Upgrade existing equipment to improve efficiency and production capacity.
  4. Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure all machinery complies with health and safety standards.
    • Follow established procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  5. Collaboration and Reporting
    • Work closely with production teams to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
    • Document maintenance activities and provide regular updates to supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
    • Hands-on experience with maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Flexibility to work outside regular hours when required.
  • English Speaker:
    • Candidates must be fluent in English
