Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the M&E design team through all project phases, from concept to completion.
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with project objectives and sustainability goals.
- Conduct design reviews, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with standards, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand requirements and provide innovative design solutions.
- Monitor project progress and provide mentorship to team members, facilitating professional growth and development.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to improve design processes and practices.
- Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the M&E design sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and design practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficiency in design software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant calculation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Full UK driver's license.
