About the role

At Side, we believe great games are born from collaboration, clarity, and creativity. We’re looking for a Lead Producer to join our internal Unity project team in Malaysia. You’ll drive the production process, aligning teams across disciplines to deliver exceptional results on time and at quality.

You’ll serve as the connective tissue between art, engineering, and design, setting priorities, managing milestones, and ensuring smooth communication between global stakeholders.  You will initially focus on an internal project but will evolve into a co-development (codev) services role, supporting external partners and projects once the internal phase concludes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the production process for our internal Unity project from concept through delivery.
  • Build and maintain project schedules, sprint plans, and key milestones in collaboration with cross-functional leads.
  • Identify and resolve production risks and dependencies across departments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and global partners.
  • Champion agile best practices, empowering the team to iterate quickly and effectively.
  • Mentor and support associate producers and coordinators.
  • Contribute to developing processes and best practices that will later support external co-development projects.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of production experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior producer capacity.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in game development (Unity preferred).
  • Deep understanding of agile/scrum pipelines, milestone planning, and live service operations.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for games and collaborative leadership.
