We are looking for a commercially driven Supplier Growth & Monetization Key Account Manager to lead strategic partnerships with FMCG suppliers and expand Makro’s monetization revenue across ads, CRM, IP, in-store events, and data solutions. This role suits someone with FMCG Industry, Trade Marketing, Brand Management, or Advertising Agency background, who understands category growth levers and supplier collaboration.

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Lead joint business planning and revenue growth strategies with assigned FMCG suppliers
  • Identify growth opportunities leveraging customer segmentation, sales trend analysis, campaign periods, and category seasonality.
  • Build annual monetization plans covering:
    1. Digital ads (Makro PRO, push, CRM channels)
    2. Data-driven campaigns
    3. IP-integrated promotions
    4. In-store activations (PC events, sampling, demos)
    5. Supplier-funded OI programs

OI & Business Growth

  • Own and deliver OI targets through monetization package sales.
  • Negotiate funding structures, campaign investments, and long-term partnership deals.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Commercial teams to ensure alignment on category priorities and demand plans.
  • Partner with CRM, Campaign, IP, and Event teams to integrate supplier activities into monthly and seasonal plans.
  • Coordinate with Budget & Program Manager for accurate fund tracking and billing.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track supplier sales trends, uplift from each monetization asset, and overall profitability within Makro.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 6–10 years’ experience in FMCG (Brand, Trade Marketing, Category), Retail Marketing, or Advertising Agency.
  • Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify monetization opportunities.
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experience with digital media, CRM, or campaign operations preferred.
  • Strong communication & stakeholder management skills.
  • English proficiency.
