Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The role involves installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems, as well as providing user support for hardware and software issues.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the IT team and in close collaboration with other departments, you will be responsible for:
- Setup, administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of IT systems (network/desktop/server), including documentation and business continuity management,
- Planning, procurement, installation, and maintenance of new hardware and software,
- Providing user support and consulting on all IT-related matters,
- Participating in backend infrastructure planning, deployment, configuration, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Administration of Windows and Linux servers/clients,
- Administration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments,
- Network management (Firewalls & Switches – Watchguard/FortiGate).
- NAS systems.
- Security solutions (VPN, malware protection).
- Ensuring data backup, data protection, and disaster recovery.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Establishing and maintaining IT policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 3–4 years of relevant experience,
- Strong experience in Windows & Linux server administration,
- Virtualization (VMware vSphere),
- Microsoft 365 and Azure administration,
- IT project planning and implementation,
- Knowledge of data classification, handling, and storage policies,
- Ability to configure, secure, and troubleshoot:
- Windows Server & network issues,
- Windows security, Active Directory, IIS, file & print services,
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis),
- Proactive, process-oriented, and solution-driven mindset,
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
