About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled International Airfreight Operations Agent with a strong background in aviation logistics and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments. This role requires an experienced operator capable of handling air import/export shipments with precision, urgency, and full transactional ownership from booking through final delivery.

This is primarily an in-office position in the DFW market, though hybrid flexibility can be offered to the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage full-cycle international airfreight shipments, including both import and export processes.
  • Handle AOG and time-critical shipments, ensuring rapid response and compliance with aviation protocols.
  • Prepare and verify documentation such as Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices, packing lists, and AES filings.
  • Communicate with airlines, brokers, vendors, and overseas partners to secure bookings and resolve operational challenges.
  • Provide accurate quotes directly to customers and manage cost procurement at a transactional level.
  • Track shipments proactively, deliver updates, and resolve any service disruptions immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, TSA, IATA, and international trade regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain service excellence and client satisfaction.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in international airfreight operations (import/export).
  • Proven expertise in aviation logistics and AOG response handling.
  • Strong understanding of airline routing, schedules, and handling procedures.
  • Familiar with CargoWise, Magaya, or similar TMS systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, IATA regulations, and export documentation required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating multi-modal movements tied to aircraft parts or aerospace cargo.
  • Prior vendor and carrier negotiation experience.
  • TSA-certified or familiarity with Known Shipper and screening protocols a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
