Job Overview

Lumax Energy is looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our sales process, handling client communication, preparing quotations, compiling bill of material (BOM) lists, managing sales orders, and assisting with general sales administration.

This position suits a detail-oriented team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, a knack for numbers, and a genuine interest in renewable energy.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of contact for client enquiries, providing timely updates and information.
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations for solar and renewable energy solutions.
  • Compile and update bill of material (BOM) lists as required for sales orders.
  • Capture and process sales orders accurately in the ERP system.
  • Generate and send invoices to clients.
  • Support the sales team with all sales administration requirements, including order tracking and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client communications.
  • Liaise with internal departments (such as finance, procurement, and logistics) to support smooth order fulfilment.
  • Assist with general administrative duties to ensure the sales process runs efficiently.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High school certificate (matric). Mechanical or technical certificate beneficial.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales administration, preferably within a technical or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid numerical and administrative skills.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with K8 or a similar ERP system.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, service-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability. Previous solar industry experience will be an advantage.
