Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Senior Intellectual Property Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Offering strategic guidance and expertise in the analysis of the generic market, including market entry strategies and competitive intelligence.
- Providing regulatory intelligence to support decision-making processes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate IP considerations into business strategies.
- Advising on R&D initiatives, including patent landscape analysis and potential risks.
- Identify, screen, and assess IP arising from research activities. Support due diligence activities and contribute to IP research.
- Support in handling the patent portfolio, including case analysis, preparation, prosecution, and post-grant activities.
- Assess intellectual property risks and opportunities to support business strategies and strengthen our competitive edge in global markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Chemical Engineering; postgraduate degree in IP is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years in patent / IP management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry..
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and business acumen; with the ability to integrate IP and business risks and considerations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; able to work independently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of patent laws, rules, and procedures.
- General understanding of pharma business practices and laws relating to the protection of intellectual property. Familiarity with the types of contracts involved in IP transactions.
