Position Summary:
As an ICU Registered Nurse at Premium Health Staffing, you will play a vital role in the care of critically ill patients. Your clinical expertise and ability to make quick, informed decisions will directly impact patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
- Perform advanced patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures and post-ICU care.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid US Passport
- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Benefits
Compensation:
• $70/hr
• $105/hr (OT)
