As an IBM Planning Analytics developer your contribution would be at the core of developing the enterprise level solutions for resolving real-world business challenges at global scale which the success of the global operations would depend on. To be successful in this role, you are expected to perform the following responsibilities and meet the requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain IBM Planning Analytics models and applications, including budgeting, forecasting, and actual reports.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements to existing models.
- Manage daily and monthly data processing to support actuals and forecast/budget close processes for the IBM Planning Analytics platform.
- Work with the lead to develop and enhance work for various models throughout all phases, from requirements gathering to build, user testing, go-live, and support.
- Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and understand the functional workflow of information from source systems to target systems.
- Develop multidimensional cubes, views, dimensions, Turbo Integrator (TI) processes, complex rules, feeders, skipcheck, and chores.
- Write batch scripts, shell scripts, and TI processes to automate schedules, TM1 services restart, data uploads, and publishing views.
- Configure security for user access to IBM Planning Analytics server instances, cubes, dimensions, elements, cells, views, TI processes, applications, and active forms.
- Monitor daily chores and troubleshoot issues with the existing system.
Requirements
- Experience: 5 years of solid experience working as an IBM Planning Analytics (aka IBM Cognos TM1) developer.
- Skills: Proficiency in IBM Planning Analytics Rules, Feeders, Turbo Integrator processes, and system configuration. Experience with SQL queries.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, IT, or similar fields preferred.
- Must be fluent in English
