Details
Build relationships with small business clients, prepare and review returns, assisting on all business matters including tax, accounting, and other business situations as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Accounting or related field
- 3 to 5 years of recent public accounting experience
- Prepare tax returns for individual, corporate, and fiduciary clients
- Senior level - Review assigned tax returns for proper data entry and tax compliance
- Proactively develop solutions for tax issues
- Perform tax planning
- Perform some accounting work
- Maintain and improve client relationships
- Skilled at interacting with clients through whatever method the client prefers (email, phone, and Zoom)
- CPA required or in progress by having at least one CPA exam completed
- Must live within 45 minutes of Raleigh, NC
