As a Housekeeper at Broughton Sanctuary, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our accommodation, communal areas, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. You will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, whether they are visiting for relaxation, retreats, or special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, cottages, and communal areas to a high standard.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room supplies as required.
- Ensure cleanliness in all public areas, including lounges, dining areas, and wellness spaces.
- Conduct regular deep cleaning tasks as per the cleaning schedule.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management team.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
- Work efficiently as part of a team, maintaining a positive and professional approach.
- Holiday cottage changeovers, including making beds, bathroom cleans, and kitchen cleans.
- Housekeeping in the Hall and conducting daily checks when occupied.
- Cleaning general communal areas across the Estate.
- Housekeeping in Avalon Wellbeing including pool suite, studio spaces and changing rooms
- Laundry duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping and hospitality.
- Driver with valid UK driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A friendly and approachable attitude.
- Physical ability to carry out housekeeping duties, including lifting and bending.
