As a Housekeeper at Broughton Sanctuary, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our accommodation, communal areas, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. You will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, whether they are visiting for relaxation, retreats, or special events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, cottages, and communal areas to a high standard.
  • Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room supplies as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all public areas, including lounges, dining areas, and wellness spaces.
  • Conduct regular deep cleaning tasks as per the cleaning schedule.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management team.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team, maintaining a positive and professional approach.
  • Holiday cottage changeovers, including making beds, bathroom cleans, and kitchen cleans.
  • Housekeeping in the Hall and conducting daily checks when occupied.
  • Cleaning general communal areas across the Estate.
  • Housekeeping in Avalon Wellbeing including pool suite, studio spaces and changing rooms
  • Laundry duties.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping and hospitality.
  • Driver with valid UK driving licence.
  • Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • A friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Physical ability to carry out housekeeping duties, including lifting and bending.

Essential Requirements

  • Flexibility to work weekends 
  • A driver with full UK Licence 

Working Hours

    • Part-Time Hours: 26 hours per week
    • Full Time Hours: 40 hours per week
    • Weekend rota

Salary

  • £12.98 per hour
