For a Leading Dry bulk Shipowner and Operator
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all operations related to dry bulk shipping, for 25 Vessels, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals and enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure alignment in operational and sales objectives.
- Monitor market trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve high performance.
- Manage key relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and port authorities.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in operations management within the dry bulk shipping sector.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of dry bulk shipping operations and industry best practices.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to travel as required.
