The Head of Operations is responsible for designing and executing efficient operational strategies across all subsidiaries of the business. This individual will oversee day-to-day activities, ensure optimal performance across departments, and align operations with the company’s strategic vision. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, process-oriented, and capable of managing the complexities of a multi-sector organization.
Key Responsibilities
General Operations Management - Oversee daily operations across all verticals: e-commerce, academy, loan services, and POS services. - Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality across functions. - Monitor operational KPIs and ensure adherence to SLAs, timelines, and targets. - Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure smooth organizational coordination.
E-commerce - Supervise vendor onboarding, product logistics, delivery systems, and customer satisfaction frameworks. - Ensure efficient last-mile delivery, inventory management, and vendor relations. - Work closely with product and tech teams to optimize the Vendor, Customer, and Rider apps. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and consumer protection laws.
Edutech - Oversee administrative and academic operations, curriculum rollout, and tutor recruitment. - Ensure student enrollment targets, platform usability, and learner satisfaction. - Develop operational strategies for online and physical training delivery. - Collaborate with content creators, instructors, and the tech team for course availability.
Loans and POS Business - Ensure the efficient deployment and maintenance of POS terminals. - Oversee credit application processes, risk assessments, and loan disbursement workflows. - Ensure all CBN compliance standards are met. - Implement fraud control measures and risk mitigation strategies.
Strategic & Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and motivate operational team leads across all businesses.
- Participate in long-term strategic planning and expansion discussions.
- Continuously identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Prepare regular operational reports and insights for executive leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or certifications a plus).
- 5–10 years in operational leadership roles, preferably across tech, fintech, or e commerce.
- Experience managing multi-vertical operational models.
- Proven track record in implementing systems and improving productivity.
- Deep knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Tech-savvy and systems-oriented.
