As a Groups and Events Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving Groups and Events Bookings and Events Sales revenue through sales efforts, and exceptional client relationship management. This role involves managing inquiries, converting leads and delivering seamless experiences to clients that align with Conrad ethos, brand standards and revenue goals. The Groups & Events Sales Executive position reports to the Director of Groups & Events.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed departmental targets and revenue goals for groups and events business, as agreed with Director of Groups & Events.
- Collaborate with the operations team to monitor event budgets, ensuring effective cost control and financial accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM systems, including client interactions, bookings, and follow-ups.
- Respond promptly to group and event inquiries via RFP platforms, email and phone as per brand standards and departmental guidelines.
- Engage with clients to understand their objectives and provide tailored, creative solutions to address their needs.
- Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase hotel facilities and services.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals and contracts tailored to client needs as per departmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure successful group and events execution.
- Stay current with market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
- Collect and analyze client feedback post-event to identify areas for improvement and share insights with leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software; knowledge of Delphi and Opera is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Greek and English; additional languages are a plus.
