We’re excited to announce that we’re on the lookout for a friendly and motivated Fresh Production Operator to join our backshift team. If you’re passionate about food production and want to be part of a vibrant team, this might just be the perfect fit for you!
As a Fresh Production Operator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our production running smoothly. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and ensure that our delicious potato products meet our high-quality standards!
The backshift hours are Sunday 09:00 - 17:00, & Monday to Thursday 17:00 to 01:00, and job and finish every 3rd Saturday. Pay rate starting at £12.21 per hour plus a 50p per hour backshift premium.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring that everything runs seamlessly.
- Check the quality of our amazing potato products and ensure they meet our standards.
- Keep the production area clean and organized while following safety protocols.
- Help your teammates by communicating effectively to maintain a great workflow.
- Perform basic maintenance on machines to keep everything in tip-top shape.
- Document production metrics and share any concerns with your supervisor.
Requirements
- A passion for working in food production and a desire to contribute to a friendly and supportive workplace.
- Previous experience in a production role is a plus, but not essential—we’re happy to train the right candidate!
- A keen eye for detail to help maintain our quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work alongside your fellow operators.
- You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work backshifts and a willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
