We are looking for competent professionals to join our Freight Forwarding Sales team & Pricing team in our.
You will be the one to coordinate with shipping lines, truckers, suppliers, customers, customs, warehouse and other involved parties to identify the best service as per customers requirements.
Using the resources provided you will approach existing and new potential customers to identify their requirements and provide them with professional solutions. ensuring value added services that will enhance their supply chain needs.
The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure quality services and hands on approach to increase the customer base and build a portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Ensure communications are efficient and the process is recorded
- Utilize logistics ERP & other tools to optimize procedures
- Oversee incoming orders and coordinate with all involved parties to ensure equipment and space availability as per customers requirements
- Communicate with shippers, consignees and intermediates for operations details and changes, when required
- Track the shipment to customer requirements and provide feedback
- Keep logs and records of the operation
- Ensure customer satisfaction & after sales
- Compile reports and targets
- Build a sales portfolio
- Travel or visit suppliers, customers and other components in the supply chain to build stronger relationships
Requirements
- Proven experience in Freight Forwarding industry.
- Or good track record in Academic studies
- Existing sales portfolio is appreciated
- Sufficient knowledge of incoterms, shipping terminology & logistics
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with other divisions
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of ERP software preferably ON LINE DATA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- English language fluency
- Ability to travel and engage in a multicultural setting
