Intertek is currently participating in a major tender for FLNG project and in anticipation of a project award, we are seeking a highly skilled Flexible Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a versatile skill set that allows for adaptation to various engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cross-disciplinary engineering teams in project execution and delivery.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness in the design and delivery of flexible risers, flowlines, and jumpers.
- Oversee contractor engineering, review and approve technical documents, and ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Monitor progress, manage technical interfaces, and resolve design and integration issues.
- Support the URF Package Manager with planning, reporting, and variation order management.
- Conduct site inspections, witness testing, and provide offshore support during installation and pre-commissioning.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID, SIMOPS, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
- 5 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience.
- 3 years of experience with Unbonded Flexible Pipe design, manufacturing and installation (5 preferred)
- Fluent in English
