Salary: $208,000 – $220,000 annually

About the Role:

As a Family Medicine Physician, you’ll provide a full range of primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and care coordination. You will serve as a lead clinical member of the care team, collaborating with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other team members to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the care team in clinical decision-making and provide supervision to NPs and PAs
  • Conduct physical exams and detailed patient histories
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of conditions
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with NY State guidelines
  • Perform minor surgical procedures
  • Refer patients for specialty care as needed
  • Review labs, imaging, and other patient data, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Document all encounters thoroughly and accurately in the EHR
  • Adhere to scheduling and productivity standards
  • Participate in community outreach and off-site programs
  • Follow infection control policies and support compliance among staff
  • Engage in peer review and quality assurance initiatives
  • Attend staff and provider meetings, and assist with updating clinical protocols
  • Maintain an unrestricted New York medical license and active DEA certification
  • Maintain board certification in your specialty and stay current through CME

What You Bring:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Current New York State medical license
  • DEA certification
  • Board certified or board eligible (must obtain certification within 18 months of hire)
  • CPR certification
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare, including primary care
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
