SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for a Facility Electrician who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to support our production and maintenance teams with expert electrical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
- Install, inspect, and service electrical equipment, wiring, panels, and controls in accordance with codes and safety standards.
- Support facility-related projects, including upgrades, new installations, and equipment modifications.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and facility systems.
- Monitor electrical systems and utilities to support energy efficiency and system reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate work with contractors and vendors as directed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and work orders.
- Respond to electrical issues, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance needs as required.
- Electrical distribution systems (panels, switchgear, transformers, UPS)
- Lighting systems, including interior, exterior, and emergency lighting
- HVAC electrical components and controls
- Compressed air systems (electrical support)
- Dust extraction and air filtration systems (electrical support, control cabinets)
- Fire protection and Life Safety Electrical Systems
- Material handling systems (conveyors, dock equipment)
- Security, access control, video surveillance and alarm systems
- Support for plumbing, water, and environmental systems as related to electrical controls
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Journeyman or equivalent electrical experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial or facility electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
