Welcome to Nexus Remote Partners—where remote work is not just a perk, it is the foundation of everything we do. We operate as a fully distributed organization connecting qualified individuals to some of the most in-demand remote positions available today, including community management. Our platform is built on the belief that geography should never limit your career potential. Whether you are a stay-at-home parent, a recent graduate, or simply someone seeking a better work-life balance, Nexus Remote Partners has opportunities tailored to your situation. All of our listed positions offer competitive hourly pay, flexible scheduling, and the freedom to work from wherever you feel most productive.

The Role: Entry-Level Online Community Moderator

The Entry-Level Online Community Moderator position is a key remote role designed for detail-oriented, communicative individuals who are ready to contribute from day one. In this capacity, you will be a direct representative of our clients, handling community management responsibilities from the comfort of your own home. You will receive all necessary training and software access upon hire—no prior experience in this specific field is required. We prioritize individuals who are reliable, quick learners, and genuinely motivated to succeed in a remote environment. If you have been frustrated by job listings that require years of experience for entry-level pay, this role is the antidote. We evaluate candidates on potential and work ethic, not credentials.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Track key engagement metrics (reach, impressions, follower growth, CTR) and report weekly.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all managed channels.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers or use Canva templates to produce visual assets.
  • Support paid social campaigns by creating ad copy variations for A/B testing.
  • Create, schedule, and publish original content across assigned social media platforms.
  • Moderate community comments and enforce community guidelines professionally.
  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form social clips, graphics, and caption copy.
  • Submit weekly performance summaries with actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Comfortable using scheduling tools such as Buffer, Later, or Meta Business Suite.
  • Canva or basic graphic design experience is a plus but not required.
  • Reliable computer and internet connection; smartphone required for content capture tasks.
  • Strong written communication skills with a knack for casual, engaging copy.
  • No formal marketing degree required — enthusiasm and platform familiarity are most important.
  • Ability to follow brand style guides and adapt tone across different client accounts.

What We Offer

  • Access to an internal learning library with remote work skill-building resources.
  • 100% remote — work from anywhere in the United States with zero commute.
  • No experience required — we hire based on potential, not your resume.
  • Flexible scheduling — choose morning, afternoon, or evening shifts based on your availability.
  • Opportunity to grow into a team lead or senior specialist role within 6–12 months.
  • Monthly remote work stipend available for qualifying full-time positions.
