Position Overview:
The Emergency Department RN will provide critical care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of patient care. The RN will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to assess, prioritize, and deliver quality care to patients in the emergency department.
Shift Details:
- Shift: 3x12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Start Date: February 24, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekend work required (every other weekend)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care, including assessment, triage, and stabilization of patients.
- Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and care coordination.
- Monitor patient progress and administer medications as ordered.
- Support high-acuity cases and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required.
- License: Active California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission).
- Travelers: First-time travelers accepted with required experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Compliance with flu vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
- References: 1 required (within the last 2 years).
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of application (5 days or fewer).
Benefits
Compensation:
• $70/hr
• $105/hr (OT)
