To lead and execute the company’s digital transformation roadmap, starting with the successful implementation of ERP systems and expanding to broader digital projects. This role will ensure that technology-driven initiatives increase operational efficiency, reduce risks, improve decision-making, and create market differentiation for HIG in Iraq.
Requirements
1. ERP Implementation & Optimization
• Lead and manage the end-to-end ERP implementation project.
• Coordinate with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the ERP system aligns with business needs.
• Ensure successful data migration, user adoption, process alignment, and system performance.
2. Digital Transformation Roadmap
• Develop, maintain, and execute a clear digital transformation strategy aligned with HIG’s business goals.
• Identify, prioritize, and manage key digital initiatives such as data analytics, process automation, CRM, and digital customer interfaces.
3. Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership
• Act as the bridge between business units and technology teams.
• Lead organizational change efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new digital tools and processes.
• Conduct regular updates and reports to the executive team on progress, risks, and opportunities.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
• Identify and mitigate digital risks including cybersecurity, data integrity, and system reliability.
• Ensure all digital projects comply with local, regional, and international regulatory standards.
5. Innovation & Market Differentiation
• Explore and recommend new technologies and digital trends that can create competitive advantage in the Iraqi market.
• Benchmark best practices in digital transformation from global and regional industries.
6. Performance Tracking & Process Optimization
• Define and monitor KPIs for digital projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in system performance, process efficiency, and user satisfaction.
• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for digital optimization.
• Design and implement new, digitally enabled processes that improve efficiency, customer experience, and data insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in digital transformation, IT project management, or ERP implementation.
• Proven track record in leading complex ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) or major digital programs.
• Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, sales, and operations.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate business goals into digital solutions.
• Strong project management skills (PMP, PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of data security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cultural change.
• Knowledge of the Iraqi market and regional business environment is an advantage.
