Job Summary:
The Database Officer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s SQL databases. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can ensure database security, performance, and integrity while supporting business needs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases to meet organizational requirements.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
  • Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and integrity through proper access controls and encryption.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize database queries and improve system efficiency.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries and procedures.
