We are currently seeking a talented Cybersecurity Technical Manager to join our Enterprise Operations team.


The Technical Account Manager, Cybersecurity is a dual-role position that blends strong technical expertise with business leadership. This individual will serve as thRole e primary technical lead and business driver for our cybersecurity service offerings. The role requires broad-based cybersecurity knowledge, hands-on implementation experience, and an understanding of cybersecurity governance, frameworks, and market demand.

The TAM will translate technical insights into viable service offerings, engage customers as a trusted advisor, and support the growth of the organisation’s cybersecurity portfolio. This is a high-impact role suited for someone who is both technically strong and commercially minded.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Cybersecurity Business Leadership

  • Lead the development, formulation, and enhancement of cybersecurity service offerings, including managed security services, advisory services, assessments, and technology solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, gaps, demand drivers, and competitive offerings.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Sales, Delivery, Solution Architects, Leadership) to define pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Support business development efforts by crafting proposals, service catalogues, and client-facing materials.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging cyber threats, technologies, and best practices.

2. Technical Advisory & Customer Engagement

  • Act as the main technical point-of-contact for key cybersecurity customers, ensuring strong relationships and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct technical workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution recommendations.
  • Interpret governance and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, PDPA) and translate them into practical solutions for customers.
  • Provide high-level and detailed technical guidance that supports cybersecurity adoption, risk mitigation, and operational improvements.

3. Implementation & Delivery Support

  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure service quality and technical accuracy across cybersecurity implementations.
  • Review architecture designs, hardening guides, and security controls to ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving cybersecurity issues escalated from customers or internal teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting for delivered services, including assessments, roadmaps, and recommendations.

4. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Provide input and oversight on cybersecurity governance frameworks for customers.
  • Conduct or oversee assessments such as vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, compliance reviews, and security posture evaluations.
  • Offer strategic recommendations for improving customers’ overall security posture and alignment with governance standards.

 

Requirements

Technical & Domain Requirements

  • Some good experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure, with exposure to areas such as:
    • Network or system security
    • Identity and access management
    • Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
    • Security assessments or vulnerability management
    • Incident handling or security monitoring
  • Hands-on involvement in implementing or supporting cybersecurity tools (e.g., firewalls, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM solutions) is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks or governance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, etc.).
  • Understanding of basic regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., PDPA, MAS TRM) is beneficial.

Professional & Experience Requirements

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, system engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Exposure to customer-facing or project-based work where coordination, requirement gathering, or technical discussions were involved.
  • Strong interest in advancing into a cybersecurity leadership, service management, or technical account management role.
  • Prior experience in solutioning, SOC operations, or security engineering is an added advantage.

Business & Leadership Attributes

  • Strong curiosity and drive to develop expertise across cybersecurity domains, including governance, operations, and business strategy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable engaging with customers, identifying challenges, and proposing structured solutions.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of outcomes.
  • Commercial awareness or interest in learning how cybersecurity services are packaged, positioned, and delivered in the market.

Certifications (Optional but Advantageous)

  • Entry and intermediate-level cybersecurity certifications such as:
    • CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+
    • CCNA/CCNP Security
    • Azure/AWS Security Fundamentals
    • ISO 27001 Internal Auditor or similar
  • Willingness to pursue advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) as part of career growth.

Eligibility Criteria for IMDA-CLT Program

Trainees eligible for the CLT must minimally be:

  • Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).
  • Able to commit to completing the full training program.
  • Able to meet the hiring requirements of the companies.
