The Role: Customer Service Representative (Remote)

As a Customer Service Representative (Remote), you will join a distributed team of professionals who handle live chat tasks for our growing client base. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Complete end-of-shift reports documenting key metrics and unresolved issues.
  • Escalate complex cases to senior support agents when appropriate.
  • Maintain a strong customer satisfaction score by delivering accurate, empathetic responses.
  • Keep personal product and service knowledge up to date through regular training sessions.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently by following established guidelines and escalation protocols.
  • Meet or exceed daily resolution and response-time targets set by the client.
  • Collaborate with teammates asynchronously using Slack or similar platforms.
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries via live chat software in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Available to commit to a minimum of 15–20 hours per week during scheduled shifts.
  • Strong written English communication skills — clear, professional, and empathetic.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to maintain focus and productivity in a home environment.
  • Access to a reliable computer (PC or Mac) and a stable, high-speed internet connection.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM accurately under moderate time pressure.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
