Overview

A high-growth, nine-figure DTC apparel brand is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist with deep experience inside fast-scaling environments ($100M+). This role requires a true operator—someone who understands how to build creative systems that drive revenue, scale efficiently, and convert cold audiences.

You will own the creative engine across the funnel, interpreting data, architecting strategy, and leading execution from concept → brief → final asset → scale. If you’ve built creative that can sustain heavy spend while delivering performance, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Strategy

  • Lead creative strategy across paid social, organic content, influencer channels, email, landing pages, and emerging platforms.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive testing frameworks for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels.

  • Build scalable creative systems including hooks, modular scripts, UGC pipelines, demo formats, review-driven ads, and angle matrices.

  • Convert qualitative insights and quantitative data into high-performing concepts that move revenue.

Brand Storytelling

  • Evolve and refine the brand voice to be emotional, modern, direct, and conversion-focused.

  • Craft compelling narratives that deepen customer connection while driving measurable business outcomes.

  • Translate founder vision, customer psychology, and market insights into strong creative story arcs.

Performance Optimization

  • Analyze creative performance metrics including hook rate, scroll-hold, CPA, ROAS, and fatigue trends.

  • Diagnose winning themes and failing elements with clear, actionable improvement plans.

  • Maintain a rapid refresh pipeline to keep paid social stable, scalable, and efficient.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work closely with Media Buying, CRO, Influencer, and Product teams to align creative with growth priorities.

  • Collaborate directly with founders and senior executives on strategy, direction, and performance.

  • Lead weekly creative reviews and ensure fast iteration cycles.

Creative Team Leadership

  • Direct internal designers, editors, UGC creators, and external production partners.

  • Produce world-class briefs, scripts, shot lists, and content frameworks.

Ensure all creators and editors have clear expectations, metrics, and success criteria.

Requirements

  • 7–12+ years in creative strategy at a high-growth DTC brand or leading agency.

  • Proven ownership of creative for a brand (or portfolio) generating $50M–$300M+ in annual revenue.

  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable creative systems—not just isolated winning ads.

  • Deep understanding of Meta and TikTok creative drivers, performance patterns, and scaling requirements.

  • Operator mindset: structured, fast, accountable, and deeply tied to performance outcomes.
