  • Participate in developing the department’s strategy, annual plans, budgets, and goals aligned with the bank’s overall corporate and financial institutions strategy.
  • Oversee staff performance, ensure operational efficiency, and support employee development to enhance client service quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow corporate and financial institution business while managing risks.
  • Supervise market research and economic studies to guide business decisions and credit approvals.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and satisfaction is maintained.
  • Lead marketing and sales efforts to attract new clients and promote banking, treasury, and cash management products.
  • Review and recommend credit facility requests, ensuring compliance with credit policies and risk management standards.
  • Monitor departmental performance, ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Promote cross-selling of banking products and services in coordination with other departments.
  • Oversee credit portfolio quality, monitor client exposure, and report potential risks.
  • Support and guide relationship and unit managers in client management and business development.
  • Supervise the implementation of strategic projects, monitor progress, and ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure proper reporting to senior management and compliance with policies, procedures, and audit recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, or a related field; professional or postgraduate qualifications in the field are preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in corporate credit and lending, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Preferably experienced in dealing with major corporations, commercial and industrial groups, and large economic entities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of internal and external banking policies, procedures, and regulatory updates.
  • Strong understanding of various market sectors, particularly the banking sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
  • Proficiency in computer use and banking systems.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
