About the Role

Village Roadshow (member of Antenna Group) is a leading entertainment brand, best known for its cinemas, delivering an unparalleled movie-going experience to over 3 million viewers annually. As we continue to expand our reach and enhance our services, we are on the lookout for a part-time Gold Class Chef.

As part of our team, you’ll be the star behind the scenes, creating delicious dishes that wow our cinema guests. Every plate follows a unique recipe and presentation, and it’s your job to bring them to life with precision, speed and flair. Whether it’s serving a gourmet dish during a movie, whipping up fun bites for a kids’ party or catering for a private event, you’ll make sure everything looks—and tastes—fantastic.

Responsibilities:

As a Gold Class Chef, you’ll make every guest feel like a VIP:

• Cooking up Gold Class dishes with style, following exact recipes and presentation standards.
• Keeping service on time—because no one wants to miss the movie!
• Creating tasty menus for kids’ parties and special events in our cinemas.
• Making sure the kitchen is spotless and everything meets the highest food safety standards.
• Managing ingredients like a pro—no waste, just smart use of stock.
• Teaming up with supervisors and colleagues to keep things running smoothly.
• Adding positive energy and team spirit to our buzzing kitchen environment.

Requirements

• A culinary degree or professional chef training (or equivalent experience).
• Up to 1 year of kitchen experience in restaurants, hotels, or events.
• The ability to thrive under pressure and deliver on time, every time.
• A keen eye for detail and passion for perfect plating.
• A team player with great communication and collaboration skills.
• A true professional who embodies Antenna Group’s values.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety practices.
