We are looking for a BI Analyst to oversee day-to-day visualizations, data validation, and stakeholder reporting. This person ensures leadership has fast, accurate insights from our data warehouse without bottlenecks.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain performance dashboards
  • Validate data across Shopify, Amazon, Recharge, GA4, Klaviyo, and marketing platforms
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies across systems
  • Work directly with the Head of Data to ensure metrics definitions and transformations are consistent
  • Surface actionable insights and trends for decision-makers quickly
  • Build clean, self-service dashboards (in Sigma Computing but has similar experience - Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Oversee weekly and ad-hoc reporting needs for marketing, operations, and finance
  • Document logic and sources to keep dashboards accurate as data models evolve
  • Partner directly with marketing, operations, and product stakeholders to answer business questions and guide decision-making
  • Analyze core e-commerce metrics (orders, revenue, refunds, subscriptions, conversion, retention) and explain key drivers
  • Investigate metric changes and anomalies with business context, not just technical reconciliation
  • Help translate stakeholder questions into clear, well-defined metrics and dashboards

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years hands-on SQL experience building and validating datasets
  • Comfortable joining large tables, using window functions, CTEs, aggregations, and troubleshooting discrepancies
  • Familiar with Snowflake, BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse (permissions, basic query tuning, lineage awareness)
  • Capable of validating metrics (e.g., Shopify vs Snowflake vs Amazon totals)
  • Strong attention to layout, speed, and usability
  • Prior experience with Shopify and Amazon Seller Central data
  • Exposure to subscription platforms (Recharge, Loop, etc.)
  • Familiar with Google Analytics / GA4, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Klaviyo metrics
  • Experience supporting DTC, e-commerce, or retail teams in an analytics or BI role
  • Strong understanding of how e-commerce businesses operate (orders, subscriptions, promotions, attribution, refunds)
  • Comfortable working with imperfect or conflicting data across systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with dbt Core (not required to build models; just to read and test).
  • Basic comfort with GitHub for version control or data documentation.
