We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our licensed insurance agents by converting inbound leads into booked, high-show discovery appointments. This role is focused on speed, connection, follow-up, and scheduling—not selling or closing insurance policies.

Responsibilities
- Respond to all new inbound leads within 5 minutes using HubSpot
- Make initial connection calls using Aircall and a provided script
- Follow up consistently with uncontacted leads through calls and text messaging
- Schedule 15-minute discovery calls directly on licensed agents’ calendars
- Confirm appointment details including date, time, time zone, and contact information
- Prepare prospects for their appointment and provide a warm handoff to the agent
- Accurately document all calls, outcomes, and notes in HubSpot
- Update Slack with lead outcomes and collaborate with agents as needed
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound and inbound calls daily
- Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional phone presence
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using CRM tools (HubSpot experience is a plus)
- Coachable, positive, and resilient with a strong follow-up mindset
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with customers
- Can commit to work for 44 hr work week (M - F: 1PM - 10AM / Sat: 1PM - 5PM)
- Flexibility to work in U.S. time zones, Monday to Saturday
- Able to maintain a distraction-free home office setup.
