Job Description:
- Requirement Gathering & Documentation:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop comprehensive technical and functional specifications that align with product goals and customer needs.
- Maintain and update product documentation, including workflows, data models, and use cases.
- Technical Liaison:
- Act as a conduit between product development and engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical specifications.
- Assist in the evaluation of technical feasibility of proposed solutions and ensure they meet business and product requirements.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner for non-technical stakeholders.
- Product Development Support:
- Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure product specifications are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle.
- Assist in testing and validation of products to ensure they meet specifications and requirements.
- Participate in product backlog grooming sessions to refine and prioritize requirements.
- Data Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide insights on customer behavior, market trends, and product performance to inform future product development decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with design, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product development.
- Support project managers in tracking and delivering on project timelines related to product specifications.
- KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs):
- Accuracy and clarity of technical and product specifications.
- Timely delivery of requirement documents and product specs.
- Successful collaboration with technical and product teams, resulting in smooth product development.
- Number of enhancements or product solutions delivered that meet business requirements.
- Efficiency in issue resolution during product testing phases.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a product development or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and product management.
- Proficiency in creating technical documents, including use cases, user stories, and process flows.
- Familiarity with database systems, APIs, and technical integration processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
