About the Role
As the Bar Manager of our signature Restaurant & Bar, you are the driving force behind an elevated beverage program that reflects the essence of a luxury dining destination. You oversee the full operation of the bar, leading the team, curating the cocktail identity, managing financial performance and ensuring every beverage served meets world-class standards.
You shape the guest experience at the bar through creativity, consistency, and service excellence, while ensuring operational discipline, cost efficiency and flawless execution. As a leader, you inspire and mentor bartenders and bar backs, foster a culture of hospitality, and collaborate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Sommelier and Executive Chef to deliver a memorable and cohesive culinary journey.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full bar operation, ensuring exceptional product quality, service consistency and guest satisfaction.
- Develop seasonal cocktail menus, signature beverages, and premium activations aligned with the K2 restaurant concept.
- Train, coach and evaluate bartenders and bar backs on mixology, beverage knowledge, service techniques and standards.
- Oversee daily bar mise en place, equipment readiness, cleanliness and hygiene compliance.
- Manage bar inventory, stock rotation, ordering processes and supplier relationships.
- Implement cost-control measures, monitor beverage KPIs, minimize wastage and support the achievement of financial targets.
- Maintain precise recipe guidelines, preparation standards and portion controls for all beverages.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and ensuring luxury-level personalization and attention.
- Collaborate with marketing and F&B leadership to support events, pop-ups, pairings, signature nights and brand activations.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, licensing laws and internal SOPs.
- Participate in scheduling, onboarding and performance management for the bar team.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a leadership position within a premium or luxury bar environment.
- Advanced mixology knowledge with proven ability to design innovative beverage concepts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and manage a diverse bar team.
- Excellent understanding of stock management, beverage costing and operational efficiency.
- Confident communicator with a guest-centric mindset and luxury presentation.
- Fluent in English (Greek is a plus).
- Familiarity with POS systems and bar management tools.
