Job Description

Our client is seeking a strategic and commercially minded AVP, Regional Marketing to lead their marketing efforts across Greater China (China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan). In this role, you will be responsible for driving regional business growth by developing business strategies, providing clear directions to relevant marketing supporting team, include but not limited to acquisition team, branding team, customer marketing team to work together to drive ultimate revenue growth and increase the profitability for the region.

This role requires a deep understanding of marketing ecosystem, strong regional market knowledge, and the ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumen with creativity and data-driven decision making to optimize the end- to-end client journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Business Strategy & Execution: Design and implement targeted business strategy for the China region, tailored to local customer needs and preferences, while aligning with global brand and product objectives, identifying new opportunities to drive revenue growth and increase market share across Chinese speaking countries.
  • Commercial Focus and Budget Management: Align on the marketing strategy with clear revenue target split among each function and allocate the budget accordingly to achieve commercial goals, including lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth. Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Partnerships teams to align on business priorities.
  • Onboarding Funnel Optimization: Partner with product, design, and marketing ops to improve the client onboarding journey. Use data and user insights to identify friction points and optimize conversion paths.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the marketing lead for the region, working closely with internal teams across Product, Payments, Compliance, Sales, and Partnerships to ensure alignment and efficiency in go-to-market execution.
  • Regional Advocacy: Act as the internal champion for the China region, providing recommendations, and updates to leadership and internal teams. You’ll share market insights, campaign performance, and recommendations to improve relevance and growth in the region

Requirements

Essential

  • 10+ years of experience in a regional marketing or country manager role focused on China.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools across acquisition, CRM, and funnel optimization. Commercial mindset, with a strong track record of delivering measurable business impact through marketing.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to align diverse teams behind shared regional goals.
  • Analytical approach with experience using data and insights to guide strategy and improve performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is essential.

Desirable/Nice to Have

  • Qualification (BA degree or equivalent professional experience).
  • Working experience within a Brokerage environment.
