Key Responsibilities
- Represent lenders, investors, developers, and owners in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing transactions.
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, joint venture agreements, and development documents.
- Manage transaction closings, including title and survey review, due diligence, and coordination with opposing counsel and third parties.
- Provide strategic advice on construction, development, and asset management matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver seamless, comprehensive legal counsel.
- Mentor junior associates, oversee key work streams, and ensure timely, high-quality client deliverables.
Requirements
Candidate Profile
- Education: JD from a top-tier law school with an outstanding academic record.
- Bar Admission: Active membership in the Georgia Bar, in good standing.
- Experience: 4+ years of substantive transactional real estate experience in an AmLaw firm environment.
- Expertise: Proven experience across acquisitions, dispositions, financings, developments, and leasing involving office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use assets.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and development agreements.
- Familiarity with title and survey review, due diligence, zoning, and entity formation.
- Lender-side financing experience preferred.
