As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will support the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. Your keen attention to detail and strong leadership skills will help drive the performance and productivity of the housekeeping team, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

 

  • Support the Housekeeping Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team, ensuring compliance with established quality standards and productivity targets.
  • Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance.
  • Assist in the onboarding and continuous training of housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of service excellence and attention to detail.
  • Oversee the allocation of room assignments and monitor progress to ensure timely and thorough completion of tasks.
  • Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, initiating purchase requests as necessary to maintain stock availability.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services, ensuring satisfaction and prompt resolution.
  • Conduct daily briefings and team huddles to align priorities, VIP arrivals, and operational updates.
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton policies, health and safety, fire regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Oversee VIP room preparations and turndown services with elevated attention to detail.
  • Work closely with Guest Relations to track preferences and implement thoughtful gestures that reflect Conrad’s Smart Luxury ethos.
  • Collaborate closely with the Front Office and Engineering teams to address and resolve guestroom or maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and maintenance procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to Housekeeping Procedures and Standards.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
