📝 Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Architect with proven experience in producing planning drawings, floor plans, elevation layouts, and sections for UK-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of UK building codes and spatial optimization strategies, and be comfortable collaborating remotely with clients and design teams.
You will be responsible for:
- Creating proposed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, and sections
- Maximizing space efficiency while maintaining aesthetic and functional integrity
- Communicating with UK-based clients via email and virtual meetings
- Ensuring compliance with UK planning regulations and standards
- Preparing technical documentation and visualizations for client presentations
- Collaborating with engineers and other consultants for integrated design solutions
🎯 Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural planning and elevation layout
- Demonstrated experience working with UK clients or firms
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, Vray)
- Strong understanding of UK building codes, planning policies, and space standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Portfolio showcasing relevant UK-based projects
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or licensure in Architecture
- Experience with BIM modeling and MEP coordination
- Familiarity with UK planning application processes
- Ability to produce 3D models and interior visualizations
