Accounting Specialist (NetSuite Experience Required)

About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with strong experience in NetSuite to join our Finance team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records — from managing AR/AP reconciliations to supporting month-end close and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Perform Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and up to date.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in vendor and customer account management.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and sub-ledgers in NetSuite.
- Generate custom financial reports and analyses in Excel and NetSuite to support management decisions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines and data integrity are maintained.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting, variance analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Provide general support to Operations and Sales teams as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within an e-commerce or consumer goods company.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
- Strong understanding of AR/AP workflows, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and report generation.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with process automation or financial reporting tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
