Accountant for CPG and Manufacturing Companies in the US

Required Experience

• 3-5+ years experience doing bookkeeping/accounting work for CPG, Manufacturing, or other related companies.
• Inventory Accounting (3+ years) - Comfortable with Inventory Reconciliations, Cost of Goods Sold / Revenue recognition, 
• Quickbooks Online -  Experience categorizing transactions, booking journal entries, completing bank reconciliations, creating invoices  
• Bill.com - Experience entering bills, setting up new vendors, exporting reports
• Google Suite - Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs
• Effective communicator with team members and managers. 
• Strong attention to detail

Nice to Have Experience

• SPS Commerce - Prior experience generating invoices in SPS would be helpful but not necessary 
• Experience with accounting related to selling to Wholesale/Retail customers - Deductions management, invoice/credit memo reconciliation, etc.
• Bill.com / Quickbooks Online Integration - Prior experience managing sync errors from Bill.com to Quickbooks    
• Experience managing books for multiple clients
• Google Sheet / Excel - Comfortable with formulas like Sumifs, Vlookup, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, etc. 
• Shopify - Experience generating reports in Shopify and/or using Shopify data to create journal entries
• Slack
