Scope of the Role
Weโre looking for an experienced Performance Static Ad Creator who can design high-converting static ads while also writing compelling direct-response copy that drives results across Meta and TikTok. This role blends visual design and copywriting, requiring a solid grasp of how creative and messaging work together to convert. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience producing performance static ads for fast-growing D2C brands, understands psychological and algorithmic ad dynamics, and is comfortable experimenting with bold creative approaches within compliance boundaries.
This is a highly executional role for someone who thrives on iteration, testing, and precision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise, design, and write performance-driven static ads for Meta, TikTok, and other paid social platforms.
- Develop multiple creative variations around key product angles, offers, and messaging frameworks.
- Translate brand strategy and ad psychology into creative assets optimised for conversion.
- Combine strong visual instincts with persuasive direct-response copywriting.
- Ensure consistency with brand tone while optimising for CTR, CVR, and ROAS.
- Manage creative files and workflow in Figma with organised, production-ready structures.
- Collaborate with creative strategists and ad buyers to interpret performance data and iterate on top performers.
- Apply grey-hat and black-hat creative principles responsibly when testing aggressive hooks, curiosity angles, and frameworks.
- Stay up to date with performance-creative trends in the D2C landscape.
- Work within brand systems and testing cadences to deliver assets on schedule.
Requirements:
- 3โ5+ years of experience designing and writing for direct-response or performance-driven ads.
- Demonstrated success producing high-performing static creatives for D2C brands.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and strong visual design skills (typography, colour, composition, layout).
- Skilled in writing short-form conversion-focused ad copy for Meta and TikTok placements.
- Deep understanding of direct-response psychology (curiosity, urgency, social proof).
- Experience with grey/black-hat ad frameworks and responsible testing practices.
- Comfortable analysing creative performance metrics to drive iterations.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Portfolio required with static ad examples across multiple brands.
