SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Sales Analyst to join our fast-growing food brand and help turn data into insights that drive strategic sales decisions. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to analyze performance, uncover growth opportunities, and strengthen go-to-market execution across all channels.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and can transform complex numbers into clear, actionable business stories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze sales performance, distribution, and trade spend to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support business planning and forecasting.
  • Pull and interpret syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, 84.51°) to assess category dynamics and brand performance.
  • Partner with sales leadership to create sell-in materials and retail presentations that highlight key insights and ROI.
  • Support annual planning, sales forecasting, and demand planning initiatives.
  • Track promotional performance, pricing, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with Finance to evaluate trade spend effectiveness and ROI.
  • Provide data-driven projections for new item launches and track performance post-launch.
  • Build strong internal partnerships and serve as the go-to expert for sales data and insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales analytics, category management, or a related role within CPG (food or beverage preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with syndicated data sources such as IRI, Nielsen, or SPINS.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the skill to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and collaborative, thriving in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
