Scope of the role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, analytical team member to help plan, forecast, and align inventory with business needs as we scale across retail and DTC channels.
The Demand Planner will play a key role in ensuring the company has the right products available at the right time — balancing customer demand, sales projections, and production capabilities. This role acts as a bridge between Sales, Operations, and Finance, ensuring accurate forecasting, optimal inventory levels, and seamless coordination with suppliers and production.
This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment and enjoys building structure and insights from data.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on sales trends, marketing initiatives, seasonality, and retail performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align forecasts with production and inventory plans.
- Track inventory levels and ensure adequate stock for DTC, Amazon, and wholesale channels.
- Monitor purchase orders, supplier lead times, and delivery schedules to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Support the month-end and quarter-end sales and inventory reporting process with data-driven insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding risks, delays, or surpluses.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management (preferably in CPG, beauty, or retail).
- Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with inventory planning tools a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
- Experience working with ERP systems or forecasting software is an advantage.
