Office Specialist II - Customer Service (Telework)

General Duties:
As an Office Specialist II in Customer Service, you will:
- provide customer service in a call center environment by responding to inbound phone calls.
- interact with customers to communicate information about all aspects of the Driver License Division in response to questions from the public.
- assist with questions which will range from very basic to very complex, including information about products and services the division provides.
- have extensive knowledge and understanding of the agency database and exercise judgment while applying a comprehensive knowledge of pertinent rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- handle customer complaints and offer suitable solutions.
- provide the public and others with information and assistance to complete forms and applications.

The ideal candidate for this position will have work experience with:- customer service
- handling confidential and sensitive information
- speaking clearly, concisely and effectively
- listening to, and understanding, information and ideas as presented verbally
- finding and gathering information or data
- multi-tasking while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- assisting people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
